What We Offer
Nordic Interior Studio provides three focused services for modern apartments — each designed around clarity, restraint, and long-term livability. We work with clients who value considered spaces over decorated ones.
Full Apartment Design
End-to-end design for complete apartment transformations. From spatial planning and material selection to furniture sourcing and final installation — we guide every decision so the result feels effortless and entirely your own.
Space Planning
A focused service for clients who want to rethink how a space functions without a full redesign. We assess flow, light, and proportion to create a layout that works with the architecture rather than against it.
Styling Consultation
A single-session service for apartments that need refinement, not reinvention. We advise on textiles, objects, light sources, and finishing details — the quiet adjustments that change how a room feels.
How We Work
Every project follows four clear phases. We move at the pace the work demands — never rushed, never vague. You will always know where we are and what comes next.
01 — Discovery
We begin with a conversation. We listen to how you live, what frustrates you about your current space, and what calm looks like to you. This session shapes everything that follows.
02 — Concept
We translate what we heard into a spatial concept: a moodboard, a material palette, and a floor plan. Nothing decorative is added without a reason. We present one clear direction — not three options designed to overwhelm.
03 — Execution
We manage procurement, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and make decisions in real time so you don't have to. Our role is to protect the vision through every compromise the build will demand.
04 — Reveal
We hand over a finished space, not a work in progress. The final walkthrough is unhurried — we explain every choice, introduce every material, and leave you with a space that already knows how to be lived in.
Who This Is For
We work primarily with owners and long-term tenants of modern apartments between 45 and 180 square metres. Most of our clients are based in Scandinavia, but we regularly work with clients across Northern and Central Europe on a remote-first basis.
Remote projects follow the same four-phase process with digital presentations, supplier coordination, and on-site support arranged through our trusted local partners. Distance has not, in our experience, reduced the quality of the result.
We take on a small number of projects at any one time. This is intentional. Attention is the most important thing we offer.
Common Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often before a first conversation.
How long does a full apartment design project take?
Most full-apartment projects run between eight and sixteen weeks from discovery to reveal, depending on the scale of works and the lead times of selected materials and furniture. We will give you a project-specific estimate after the discovery session.
What is the approximate budget range for your services?
Our design fees are quoted per project after an initial scope conversation. Full apartment design fees typically begin at €6,000. Space planning and styling consultations are fixed-fee services — please enquire for current rates.
Can you manage the project if I am not based locally?
Yes. We have a structured remote process and a network of trusted contractors and suppliers across Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Clients are not required to be on-site during the execution phase.
What should I prepare for an initial consultation?
Nothing formal is required. It is helpful to have floor plans if you have them, and any images — saved, torn out, or photographed — that capture spaces or objects you are drawn to. The conversation will guide itself from there.
Do you work on rental apartments?
We do, with some adjustments to scope. Styling consultation and space planning are well-suited to rental contexts. Full design projects in rental apartments are assessed case by case.
Begin With a Conversation
If what you have read feels like the right approach for your space, we would be glad to hear from you. The first conversation is informal, unhurried, and without obligation.
We are currently accepting new projects for the coming season.
